Delawares legal sports gambling market experienced a further downturn in February, with authorized operators producing only $22,152 (£16,809/€19,696) in total earnings for the month.

This represented a substantial decrease from the $1.4 million earned in January. Based on Delaware Lottery statistics, the month’s betting also declined from $11.9 million to $8.49 million as of February 24.

Delaware bettors claimed $8.46 million in February, compared to $10.3 million in January, with the quantity of bets falling from 227,328 to 193,537.

Delaware Park remains the most favored sports betting location for Delaware residents, with the venue recording $5.32 million in bets. However, after distributing $5.34 million in winnings, the venue incurred a loss of $28,750 for the month.

Dover Downs emerged as the highest-earning venue for sports betting, generating $34,460 in revenue in February on total wagers of $1.71 million. Harrington Raceway also reported $1.46 million in customer bets, generating $16,442 in revenue.

To date, Delawares total sports betting revenue stands at $1.46 million, with a total of $200,000 generated over the past two decades.

A total of four million dollars was gambled, while those who played the lottery won eighteen point seven five million dollars in prizes.

At the same time, the Delaware Lottery also reported a month-to-month decrease in online revenue in February, dropping to two hundred seventy four thousand six hundred ninety two dollars from two hundred seventy nine thousand five hundred forty one dollars in January.

Despite an increase in consumer spending, this downward trend continues, with total spending in February reaching nine point zero two million dollars, considerably higher than the seven point four two million dollars in January. However, lottery players won more in February, claiming eight point seven seven million dollars compared to seven point one seven million dollars the previous month.

Delaware Park surpassed Dover Downs as the leading online gambling location in terms of revenue and total wagering. The venue generated one hundred fifteen thousand five hundred eighteen dollars in revenue with five point zero seven million dollars gambled that month. A total of four point nine seven million dollars in prizes were distributed.

Dover Downs reported revenue of one hundred three thousand four hundred fifty two dollars with two point seven million dollars in total bets, while Harrington Raceway reported revenue of fifty five thousand seven hundred twenty one dollars with one point two five million dollars in total bets.
