A gaming and media firm, Rival, has earned the RG Check certification from the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC). This designation makes Rival the inaugural esports platform to receive this acknowledgment.
The RG Check program is a social responsibility accreditation that acknowledges online gambling sites with resources to monitor, evaluate, and manage gambling risks.
Ontario has mandated this certification as a prerequisite for all operators seeking entry into the regulated online gambling marketplace. All operators are required to complete the program within a two-year timeframe from their launch in the Ontario market.
