The official publication of Belgium has unveiled guidelines for the resumption of operations for casinos, gaming centers, and wagering establishments. These regulations include a limitation on gaming hours, commencing at 5:00 PM and concluding at 11:30 PM.

Belgium has declared reopening protocols and a collaborative arrangement with law enforcement. As per the regulations, face coverings remain obligatory, and patrons are permitted to enter the venues in groups of up to four individuals. Furthermore, each gambling establishment must guarantee a social separation of 1.5 meters, furnish hand sanitizer for both staff and patrons, and conduct regular disinfection of their premises and any utilized equipment. These new directives were disseminated on June 7th.

Concurrently, a fresh accord has been publicized between the Belgian Gaming Commission and the Federal Police. This agreement entails the Gaming Commission seeking access to federal personal information to identify visitors to Class I or II gambling venues as members of the integrated law enforcement agency and subsequently restrict them from participating in gambling activities. The agreement also specifies that new data should be relayed daily to maintain alignment with the fluctuations in personnel of the integrated law enforcement agency.

In the preceding week, the Gaming Commission disclosed that it levied 55 penalties for 23 instances in the year 2020.
