The Maltese Gaming Authority (MGA) has granted BetConstruct permission to receive cryptocurrency deposits.
BetConstruct stated that the new ruling from the MGA will enable the company to “broaden its operations by attracting players who utilize cryptocurrency and enhance their contentment and involvement.”
The firm will provide cryptocurrency gambling through its white-label offerings and its own Vbet brand.
Earlier this year, BetConstruct revealed that it would accept Fasttoken (FTN) as a supported digital currency.
The integration of cryptocurrency or virtual financial assets (VFAs) has been a component of the Maltese government’s temporary “sandbox framework” designed to evaluate the use of cryptocurrency by licensed gambling operators.
The framework was initially planned to conclude on December 30, 2022, but has been extended to February 28 of this year.
