The famed Serie A soccer organization, AC Milan, has revealed a key alliance with leading esports group QLASH, signifying its formal entrance into the thriving competitive gaming landscape.
This joint effort will witness AC Milan vying in global esports competitions under the name “AC Milan QLASH”. QLASH, recently awarded Italy’s top gaming squad, will combine their expertise with the soccer giant to dominate virtual fields in soccer simulations and other esports games.
Some of the main tournaments they intend to enter include the FIFAe Global Series, the FIFAe Club World Cup, and the popular mobile title Brawl Stars.
“We are ecstatic to share this brand-new collaboration with QLASH,” remarked Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer of AC Milan. “We view this as a thrilling and innovative prospect for both ourselves and our supporters globally, and we are pleased to be working alongside a premier esports entity like QLASH as we set out on this new esports venture.”
Luca Pagano, Co-Founder and CEO of QLASH, also conveyed his enthusiasm regarding the partnership: “Esports presents a massive expansion prospect for established brands willing to innovate and accept transformation.”
“We are privileged and delighted that AC Milan selected QLASH as their esports division, not only operationally, but also from a branding and commercial standpoint.”
